Item Description
An Elio Schiavon (1925 - 2004) 1960's art pottery vase, of tall cylindrical form with a geometric design of bands of diamonds in predominately turquoise and brown thickly applied glazes.
Elio Schiavon was an Italian ceramic artist. He studied at the School of Ceramic Art in Nova and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. In 1954 he opened his own workshop, Schiavon Ceramiche in Padua creating pieces in his unique and original style.
