Item Description
A Mark Judson stoneware bowl, in mottled and streaky buff coloured and turquoise glazes.
Mark Judson studied fine art at Sheffield university, during which time he became particularly interested in ceramics. On graduation he became an art teacher in Leeds and then Cambridgeshire where he was the Director of Art at The Pearse School. In 2005 he moved to France where he set up a ceramics and painting studio at his home at Chenevaux, St Pierre de Maille in the Vienne where he works and continues to teach. He has been a member of the Anglian Potters Association for over 20 years and his ceramics can be found in collections all round the world.
