An early 19th century ironstone china octagonal-section dragon-handled jug, circa 1820, printed and painted in the Imari palette with peonies and lotus flowers issuing from vases, the moulded handle enriched in green, iron-red and pale lustre. The jug is unmarked by is a Mason's ironstone shape and type and of comparble quality.
