Item Description
A Staffordshire or Yorkshire saltglaze stoneware lobed plate, circa 1760, of dished form with foliate scrollwork and basketwork moulded in relief, with a central a medallion containing a squared pattern and surrounded by eight scrollwork panels and outer reticulated border of scrolls and basketwork.
22cm diam.
The plate has been broken in half and glued and has a strip of repair tape to the reverse, however it is complete with no losses or chipping.The repair is less noticeable in reality than in the photographs due to the photographic lighting.
