The paper laid down on board and framed. Some water damage bottom right.
Domingo Ortega (born, Toledo 1906) began bullfighting in 1928, first appearing as a matador in 1931 and continued to fight for more than 20 years. He was one of Spain’s most admired Matadors, and his artistry and daring influenced most bullfighters who came after him. He continued to fight for more than 30 years and retired in 1954.
The artwork for the poster is by Vicente B. Ballestar (1929 – 2014), a Catalan artist and illustrator, well-known for his cover artwork for fantasy, horror and sci-fi novels.
