Item Description
A Victorian iron framed armchair, circa 1880, with unusual padded and buttoned back, the sprung serpentine seat raised on ring turned front supports terminating in orginal brass and porceain castors.
These iron framed chairs are particularly comfortable as the sprung back has some give. This example is a mid size and suitable as an occasional chair or for the bedroom.
It is in good, sound condiiton and just needs new top covers. I can arrange upholstery and supply fabric if required. Please get in touch for further details.
