A finely illustrated coloured plate from Familiar Wild Flowers publication figured by F Edward Hulme, dating to around 1879.
Pimpernell.
Presented in a bespoke, hand-crafted mount and wooden frame with glass, recently made by a local fine art trade guild and guild commended framer.
As you may expect with an illustration of such age, there is some wonderful light foxing present.
