Antique French Coolie Milk Glass Pendant Light – C
An early French glass coolie pendant light. The conical milk glass shade has been hand spun from opaque glass, the shade has a frilly edge. The light has retained its original aged brass gallery. Great as a task light in the kitchen or work room. These French shades have taken on many names over the years – ‘Pie Crust’ ‘Handkerchief’ ‘Frilly’ ‘Crinkle’

Workshop Report: The workshop team inspect all products and perform any necessary repairs to ensure many more years of future use, with lighting we deep clean the shades and professionally remove all existing electrical components and fit new CE certified electrical fittings. This light has been rewired with CE Certified B22 (Bayonet) bulb holder and 1m of twisted brown vintage style fabric flex supplied with brass ceiling rose and cord grip. The glass shade is in overall good condition with no cracks or chips.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
