Item Description
1950’s Baumann Honey Blonde Simple Bentwood Dining Chair.
Made by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child’s chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. Beautifully made and designed this batch has a really rich colour and character. Stunning original patina with lovely sun bleached frames. We service and wax each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat Height: 47cm.
We hold large stocks of original vintage chairs for private and commercial use. At time of listing we had 54 chairs in stock. The price listed is for one chair and you can order any quantity subject to the maximum available – for large orders please contact us for stock availability. Please note The Hoarde systems are unable to process multiple quantities, to purchase more than one chair please contact us.
Workshop Report:
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
