1970’s Czech Low Oval Occasional Table By Drevotvar. Produced by Drevotvar in Jablonne and Orlici in the Czech Republic. Czech design will always be affiliated to the Bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production thought Czechia principally during the second half of the 20th Century with producers such as Ton and Up Zavody amongst many others. This is a high quality practical mid century table with a solid dark stained oak base and a figured Sapele top. In exceptional condition the table has been sensitively restored in our own workshop.
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
