Àlvar Suñol Munoz-Ramos - Surrealist Scene

A mesmerising, fantastical image that perfectly encapsulates the intricate art of this Spanish master. Àlvar Suñol Munoz-Ramos (known as Alvar) is one of the few remaining living Spanish Modernist artists. Known for his meticulous work that synthesises the traditions and craftsmanship of Renaissance painting with a Modern sensibility. His works are owned by over 40 museums across the world and he has exhibited widely in the USA and Europe. Most notably he showed his work at Galerie Charpentier in Paris in the 1960s, alongside his fellow Spanish Modernists Dali, Miro and Picasso.
