Item Description
A large Louis Philippe commode/chest of drawers with figured walnut veneer, marble top and reeded detailing. This has four drawers with very attractive, ornate brass handles. This is a large piece, so the correspondingly wide drawers are fairly heavy. The marble is in good condition, with no breakages, cracks or significant staining. Likewise the veneer, which just has some wear and small scuffs showing its age and usage, and a few signs of old repairs.
The marble is a sit-on top, and can be removed for transit. However due to its size, please note that this slab of marble is very heavy.
