This is a lovely chest, that has been restored historically to a good standard. Attractive burr walnut veneers to the front on an oak structure.

In very good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with functional antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes (to be expected), that we have treated for good measure. Later handles and escutcheons. This piece may have been used as two serparate chests at some point in it's life as was common.
