Item Description
A Second World War military wooden box.
Originally used for personal belongings, this characterful box has pitting marks to the pine commensurate with age, along with splits and gauges adding to the authentic appeal of the delicately faded blue/grey finish.
There is metal banding to the top edge, and original metal handle and hinges.
Remnants of canvas straps are still attached to the inner lid.
A super piece of history and great piece of rustic storage.
