Standing on an elegant Georgian style bracket base, this piece boasts a wonderful aged patina and rich character that only time can provide.
Story: During the 1800s, Victorian pine chests of drawers offered economical storage for working class and utility spaces. To elevate the plain wood for formal settings, makers applied faux hardwood paint techniques, mimicking oak, mahogany, or walnut, They also finished pieces in full paint colours and hand painted intricate patterns and detailing.
