Item Description
Description: Beautiful turned hardwood ebony door handle with ebony back plates. Dating from the late 19th Century these handles have their original threaded square bar spindle and are suitable for mortice, latch and rim lock fitting. The screws are concealed by a brass shaft which screws down, see last photo for detail.
Condition: Very good. These handles have been cleaned & hand polished. There are some very light surface markings to the wood consistent with their age & use. Two tiny new grub screws have been made for installation.
