Item Description
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is decorated, in white relief, with two different classical subjects, trees and foliage. Around the spout and handle are bands of laurel leaves and berries. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue.The jug is in excellent condition, there is just a small patch of white by the side of the spout where the dip glaze hasn’t covered properly.
Dimensions: Height 5cm. Length 9.2cm. Width 7cm.
