Item Description
A two part, French brass nougat or ice mould in the shape of a scroll. This is marked “TROTTIER FNT PARIS” to one side and it dates from c.1880. It would have been used to mould a three dimensional scroll which would, along with others, have formed the stand for a comport or centrepiece in nougat or ice. It is slightly mis-shaped, so it doesn’t fit together very well and there is very slight marking to the brass.
Dimensions: Height 18cm. Width 9.8cm. Depth 2cm.
