Item Description
A fantastically clean example of a William Crawford & Sons biscuit tin in the form of a Georgian satinwood tea caddy. The Royal Warrant displayed to the base of the tin is 'By Appointment to the Late King George V' - so post 1936 but probably not by much - late 1930s, early '40s.
The original brass loop remains on the top, the inside is in good, clean condition and all faces are bright with minimal scratching etc ... As good as you could hope to find!
It measures 15.5cm wide x 12.5cm high x 9cm deep.
