Item Description
This is a fabulous extra large completely unused vintage French pure linen sheet - an exciting find! The wide linen is rare and this is a good long piece too. They just don't make fabric like this any more, it's tightly woven, smooth and made to last, no modern sheet will even come close to this. A medium weight linen that will make excellent bedding but also is great for curtains or upholstery and will give so much more character than a modern textile.
Colour is currently a pale creamy sandy beige which will lighten as the fabric is laundered. "Fleur bleue" branded with the traditional blue marking along the selvedge. Simple hand turned hems and a little laundry label at the bottom.
This is a completely unused "dead stock" piece. It has been very well stored and doesn't have any marks to speak of. Soak and wash before use to remove dust and sizing. I will supply my laundry notes with purchase.
