Item Description
A late 19th century, French copper, fancy border mould. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It has a rolled rim and there is a small hole in the rim where a fitting for hanging has been removed from. The design is quite complex and displays well either hanging or on a shelf. It consists of fourteen small, dome topped columns with cog shaped bases and within the outer ring there are further domes around a sunken centre. The mould is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
