Item Description
A super quality, French copper, oblong casserole or fish kettle complete with drainer. This is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1860. It has castellated seams around the base and up the side and it has a rolled rim. There are attractively shaped brass handles to the ends of the pan and also to the lid. There are no manufacturers marks, simply a number 3 stamped at one end of the pan, but this is obviously from a very good manufacturer due to the quality of the piece. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Length of pan 29.5cm. Overall length including the handles 37cm. Width 21cm. Depth of pan 17.2cm. Overall height including the handle 21cm.
