Item Description
A large, late 19th century, French copper stockpot and cover. Both the pot and cover are stamped with a number “28” which relates to the diameter in centimetres. The pot is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1890. There are the usual, attractive French form of brass handles to both sides of the pot and also to the lid. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pot 28.2cm. Overall width including the handles 38.2cm. Height of pot 28.5cm. Overall height including the handle 30.5cm.
