Item Description
A super quality, late 19th century copper mould by Benhams. This is in the shape of eggs in a nest. It is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and to the opposite side is a small, circular workman’s mark. It is also stamped “HARRODS LTD”, as it was made for retail by Harrods, and it dates from c.1890. The design is very well detailed and the mould is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, although slightly worn, is still in good enough condition for occasional use.
