Item Description
A small, pewter ice cream mould which would turn out three small strawberries. This is marked, in the casting, “L.G” and “1912”. L.G is the mark of the French company Letang and 1912 is the pattern number. It is also marked, on the interior of the hinge, “LETANG FILS PARIS 108 RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE”. The mould dates from c.1880. The strawberries are extremely well detailed and the mould is in good condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has quite a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 10cm. Width 5.5cm. Depth when closed 3.6cm.
