Item Description
A small, pewter ice cream mould which would turn out three small tangerines. This is marked, in the casting, “L.G” which is the mark of the French company Letang. It is also marked, on the interior of the hinge, “LETANG FILS PARIS 108 RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE”. The mould dates from c.1880. The tangerines are extremely well detailed and the mould is in good condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has quite a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 11cm. Width 5.6cm. Depth when closed 2.5cm.
