Item Description
A three part, Victorian, pewter, ice cream banquet or pillar mould. This is stamped with the pattern number “No 8” above the registered design kite mark, which dates the year of registration of the mould to 1868, and “QUART” which is the capacity. It dates from c.1880. The top section is moulded with a group of fruits and this sits above fluted sides. The design is very well detailed and would turn out well. The mould is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Diameter at the foot 10.6cm. Height 17cm.
