Item Description
A matched, graduated set of three French copper saucepans with steel handles. The larger of these pans is stamped with the number “20”, which relates to the diameter in centimetres, it is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1920. The two smaller pans are 19th century and they are also made from a very heavy gauge of copper. They are marked “E DEHILLERIN 18 RUE COQUILLIERE PARIS” but the mark on one is quite worn. They date from c.1880. The mid sized pan is also stamped with a large letter “G”. All three pans are in very good condition. The tinning in the largest pan is still in usable condition but the tinning in the two smaller pans is worn.
Dimensions: Largest: Diameter of pan 20cm. Depth 10.2cm. Overall length of pan and handle 40cm.
Mid sized: Diameter of pan 16.2cm. Depth 9.4cm. Overall length of pan and handle 34.2cm.
Smallest: Diameter of pan 14.1cm. Depth 8cm. Overall length of pan and handle 30cm.
