Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, shallow trinket box. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letter “W” which would be the workman’s mark. The sides of the box are decorated, in white relief, with stylised flowers divided by anthemion and the lid has a classical subject surrounded by a narrow border of laurel leaves and berries. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. The piece is in excellent condition.
