Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, candle snuffer and stand. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letter “O”, which would be the workman’s mark, and a number ”2”. The stand is decorated, in white relief, with three different classical subjects surrounded by a narrow border of convolvulus and the snuffer has the same border design with a single, very small relief showing one of the Gods riding a chariot. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. There is a large chip to the snuffer, which can be seen in the images but the stand is in good condition.
Dimensions overall : Height 8.8cm. Diameter 10.2cm.
