Item Description
A vintage Roger Bunn studio pottery stoneware bowl, of shallow form with interesting ball detail to the rim, in a mottled celadon glaze. Signature to the underside of the base.
31cm diameter.
Roger Bunn is a ceramist making functional and sculptural ceramics in a variety of clays. He studied at Stafford School of Art before teaching alongside undertaking commissions such as for Associated British Ports, Hampshire County Council and Ian Hamilton Finlay, the Scottish artist/poet. He has exhibited widely and is member of the Hampshire and Berkshire Guild of Craftsmen. He is also the author of ‘Pottery and Ceramics’, published by Macmillan.
