Style: An ode to folk style these brightly painted hand carved unique elements are from a Sicilian horse or donkey cart. Not identical in style, the designs are both of Saint George and the Dragon. The backs are also painted. Perfect on a country dresser, shelves, mantlepiece, or as bookends or hung on the wall. The final image shows an example of a piece of cart seen in an antique shop in a Sicilian fishing village - you can see the central section depicts one of these pieces. Available individually or as a pair.
