Style: An elaborate Rococo style carved wood table top tilt vanity mirror on carved base. Beautiful original gold gilding. Possibly venetian, circa 1900-1930.
Story: During the Renaissance and beyond mirrors became increasing elaborate and ornate, reflecting the opulent tastes of the era. They were incorporated into dressing tables, elaborate frames, showcasing wealth and sophistication.
