Item Description
A good quality, 19th century, French copper cider measure. This style of measure was made for a long period of time and was used particularly in the North of France in the cider and perry making regions. This example is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper. It has a castellated seam up the back and the rim is finished with a very neat strengthening band. There is a small dent to the top of the hollow handle but other than that it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 34cm. Width 29cm Diameter 20cm.
