Item Description
What a beautiful bolster case! A fine white antique French linen with intricately worked drawn thread decoration to each end and a central monogram, again very intricately stitched of the letters CR/JR? I'm not sure. There are delightful button hole stitched slits for a ribbon to be inserted to draw each end closed - this will really look so pretty on a bed.
These were made long so that the decorative lace edging would hang over the side of the bed. This is really useful as it makes them adaptable for larger modern beds.
Freshly laundered and ready for use. No damage, wear or thinning.
