Item Description
Huge piece of unused early 20th century French heavy linen sheeting fabric. This is amazing heavy, sturdy stuff - yes, it was originally intended to be used on a bed but really this will come into its own to use for upholstery, blinds or curtains. This is very sturdy stuff and will need a good soak and laundering to soften up but it will leave you with some great fabric. Hard to tell if it is a pure or a linen metis.
Unused "dead stock" piece, cut from a bolt but never put to use. It has been hemmed but never laundered, waiting to shine! These vintage linens are such excellent quality, you'll never find anything to compare in a modern fabric. If you know, you know! Colour is a mid sand/pale coffee which will lighten as the fabric is laundered.
Some marks along the fold lines but generally it has been well stored. As mentioned, soaking and washing will be needed - I supply my laundry notes with purchase.
